Who we are. Manek Ratna (manekratna.com) is a B2B imitation
and fashion jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler. For the purposes of the Digital
Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") we are the Data Fiduciary for the
personal data you provide here.
What we collect. Your name, company name, business type and
business model, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, country, state and
city, anything you type in the message box, and — as you use the account — your
orders, inquiries, cart activity and communication history with us.
Why we collect it. To create and operate your wholesale
account; to show you business pricing applicable to your account; to process,
pack, dispatch and support your orders and inquiries; to provide customer service;
to detect misuse; and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Service and order messages (necessary). To run your account we
will send you OTPs and sign-in codes, order confirmations, dispatch and delivery
updates, payment and invoice information, inquiry and quotation responses, and
account notices — by email, SMS and WhatsApp. These are required to provide the
service you are asking for and continue while your account is active.
Promotional messages (optional, your choice). Separately, we
would like to send you new arrivals and collections, offers and price updates,
catalogues and trade announcements. This is entirely optional — you choose the
channels below, your account works exactly the same either way, and you can change
your mind at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, by replying STOP to
an SMS or WhatsApp message, or by writing to us.
Who we share it with. Only as needed to serve you: logistics
and courier partners for delivery, payment gateways for payments, and IT, hosting,
email, SMS and WhatsApp service providers who process data on our instructions. We
do not sell your personal data. Where data is processed outside India, it is done
in accordance with applicable law.
How long we keep it. For as long as your account is active and
thereafter as required for tax, accounting, contractual and legal record-keeping.
Your rights. Under the DPDP Act you may access a summary of
your personal data and how it is processed, ask us to correct or complete it, ask
us to erase it where it is no longer required, nominate another person to exercise
your rights, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not
affect processing already carried out, or processing we must continue for legal
reasons. You may also raise a grievance with us and, if unsatisfied, with the Data
Protection Board of India.
Security. We maintain reasonable security safeguards for your
information as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the
Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive
Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
